Open Ephys | Acquisition & Recording System

Scientific Research / Neurophysiology

Description

CyNexo’s neural recording system is based on the Open Ephys open-source project. This platform offers the ability to record up to 512 channels using Intan amplifiers. The board is compatible with the Open Ephys GUI, C++, Matlab and LabVIEW.

Its main characteristics are as follows:

  • Standard Intan amplifier & A/D chips
  • 1–30 kHz Sampling Rate
  • Low Noise 2.4 µV rms
  • Large Input Range ± 5 mV
  • True real-time audio monitoring
  • 8 TTL inputs 8 TTL outputs
  • 8 analog inputs (±5V or 0–5V)

CyNexo can also provide you with the recording system fully integrated with our aoLED controller for optogenetic stimulation as well as distraction lighting, underfloor lighting and video recording.  Our extensive experience in this field allows us to customize the integration of the recording, stimulation and other aspects to those of the behavioural experiment around your specific needs.  Such a system is able to offer significant performance and versatility at a very competitive price.

This hardware is power by Open Ephys.

REQUEST INFO

We have been looking for a new in vivo setup in our lab that covers electrophysiology, optogenetics and behavioral research. CyNexo has optimally implemented our requests and wishes and integrated further helpful aspects. Thanks to Open Ephys, the software is very easy to understand and can be easily modulated according to our own wishes and questions. The support is just great. If you have questions or help, the team comes up quickly with ideas and suggestions. We will definitely continue working with CyNexo in the future and wish the company all the best.
