Fabrizio is CEO of CyNexo and an expert in software development and hardware integration. He is a certified LabView developer and manages the LabView academy at SISSA. He has over 15 years experience in setting up research experiments, especially in neurosciences. He also has extensive experience in supporting researchers in the development of new hardware and software instrumentation to get the most out of their experiments, acquiring and managing large and real-time data sets.
BARBARA DELPIN
Founding partner
Barbara is a founding partner of CyNexo and, has a degree in architecture and specializes in managerial techniques and models for excellence in organizations. She has spent over 15 years working in project management, starting from concept through economic quantification and on to fabrication and finishing. She also follows the administrative and financial aspects of our company.
STEFANO PARUSSO
Founding partner
Stefano, a co-founder of CyNexo, is an electronics engineer with a rich background in developing fully functional embedded devices from concept to production. His expertise extends to utilizing deep learning techniques across various contexts. With a focus on embedded vision systems, secure device development, and medical devices in private companies, Stefano has dedicated a substantial period to crafting hardware and software solutions for diverse aspects of neuroscience research. Additionally, he has served as the principal investigator for Horizon 2020 projects, showcasing leadership and expertise in driving innovative initiatives. His proven ability and extensive experience make him a key member of our team, driving innovation and excellence in every project.
CHRISTOPHER CASTLETON
Founding partner
Christopher is CyNexo’s forth founding partner and a mechanical engineer with significant experience in business, quality, project management and operational excellence, spanning multiple industries and continents. He has spent close to 20 years working in various R&D engineering, project management, business development, process optimisation, consultant and trainer roles. Christopher has also been involved in green field projects and start-ups and applies his experience towards helping SMEs create new growth opportunities by focusing on innovation and customer value. He manages our customer value chain from suppliers through to the final customer.
DANIELE DELPIN
Production
Daniele is our Mechatronics Lab Technician, with long experience in the field of mechanics. Thanks to his remarkable creativity and to his great dexterity he is able to combine electronic, mechanical and computer systems in order to make them communicate to make a machine work in a totally independent mode starting from the technical drawings made. Dismantling, building, assembling pieces and understanding their functioning have always stimulated his curiosity to become his main hobby in private life, a personal passion that also transmits in his work.
DIEGO MOIMAS
Senior hardware developer
Diego Moimas is a senior electronics engineer contributing to the dynamic environment at CyNexo. He plays a pivotal role as a firmware developer, spanning from low-level software to the embedded GNU/Linux operating system design. His proficiency extends to the hardware domain, where he excels as a PCB designer and analog specialist. Diego’s skill set also encompasses FPGA and digital design expertise, adding a layer of versatility to his contributions. In addition to his electronic engineering prowess, he possesses fundamental knowledge in 3D CAD and 3D printing technologies. Diego’s dedication to innovation makes him an invaluable team member, consistently propelling our projects forward with a blend of technical prowess and a commitment to excellence.
RICCARDO BUNELLO
Junior hardware developer
Riccardo Bunello is a Junior Hardware Engineer at CyNexo, skilled in designing both analog and digital electronics. He utilizes Altium Designer for PCB layout and design and has hands-on experience with the STM32 platform, focusing on embedded systems. Proficient in programming languages such as C and Python, Riccardo effectively bridges hardware and software components. Additionally, his familiarity with Matlab and Octave, gained during university, enhances his capabilities in data analysis and algorithm development. His diverse skill set positions him well to contribute to innovative hardware solutions at CyNexo.

Davide Giana is a cognitive neuroscience researcher, who gained his PhD at SISSA, with a background in biology and engineering. After many years spent on behavioural and neurophysiological research, Davide has joined CyNexo in the role of sales and technical support. Thanks to his diverse experience, he is able to communicate successfully to researchers and developers alike, bridging different mindsets and anticipating needs on both sides. Davide has both the expertise and the commitment to bring the best tools to his fellow scientists.

Eva Nadalutti is a dedicated purchasing employee at CyNexo, where she excels in project accounting and procurement for manufacturing projects. With proficiency in the Odoo platform, she efficiently manages purchasing processes while ensuring accurate financial tracking and general accounting. Eva’s strong analytical skills and attention to detail enable her to contribute effectively to project success, making her a valuable asset to CyNexo team.
