Adjustable Optogenetics Drive

The aoDrive is a customized, independently adjustable optogenetics drive made through 3D printing processes. Weighing in at only 3 grams it is ideal for use in free-moving experiments on mice and rats. It incorporates independent adjustment screws for each of the fiber-optics and electrodes, and can be used in a single or tandem configuration (for the simultaneous and independent stimulation and recording in two different areas of the brain). The aoDrive is completely customizable to suit specific research needs.

Optogenetics LED Controller

The oLED Controller integrates control circuits and LED source on a single device, leading to an ideal control of an LED emitter for use in both analog (0-5V) and TTL digital stimuli. Low latency, high speed (up to 1MHz), stability and optical feedback make this controller the ideal choice for optogenetics experiments.

Sniff-0

Sniff-0 Portable olfactometer

This unit is a portable odor delivery controller with multiple independent channels + a constant flow channel, for use in psychophysical experiments. This fMRI compatible device allows controlling the delivery of selected odors over time in a precise manner via a computerized software controller and can receive or deliver external trigger signals.
The system has a base configuration of 5+1 channels and can be configured for up to 12+1 channels all packed into a ruggedized carrying case.

Why Us?

The CyNexo team is composed of a technical team with broad capabilities forged through working at advanced scientific labs, and who know well the sort of hurdles faced in ERC/HORIZON 2020 projects and how to deal with them. Our experience covers the full product lifecycle from developing the initial idea, generating a proof-of-concept, prototyping working solutions, to one-off or small quantity production of final products.

Our History?

The team was born under the "Neuromicronica" banner within the SISSA neuroscience team. Over the past years we have grown up and are now spreading our wings into the commercial world as CyNexo. Here are some important milestones from our journey so far:

• 2018 May - Sissa recognize CyNexo as official startup company

• 2018 January - CyNexo srl created

• 2017 April - Assigned the Proof of Concept Grant as Neuromicronica project

• 2016 September - Finalist an the European Radar Innovation Prize in Bratislava

• 2015 December - Finalist at the national Italian startup competition PNI

• 2015 October - 1st prize Industrial of Start Cup FVG

• 2015 June - first selection of Start Cup FVG as "Neuromicronica" project

• 2014 December - final business plan of ReSeed

• 2014 May - first selection of regional ReSeed
